Kartika Arifien Marshall was born to an Indonesian mother and American father at Bonn, Germany in 1992. Raised in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia, Asia has been a huge influence on her artistic upbringing.
Under the guidance of her successful artist Aunt, she worked with a small group of craftsmen in her Indonesian hometown to produce a premiere line of distinct handbags. With a passion for metal, she strives to mix her favorite medium with other interesting materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
